Job Summary
Location: Helper, UT
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITIES:
- Review manufacturing processes, identifies, and develops opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization.
- Plan, organize, and drive facility results through performance metrics, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Improve organization’s financial performance and competitive positioning through continuous improvement of production related processes.
- Establishes quality and safety standards and tracks organizational performance.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, meetings, workshops, etc.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have Technical or Business-Related college degree. Product Management experience preferred.
- Must have minimum of ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing and operations.
- Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 and Lean Manufacturing.
- Performs work under minimal supervision.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to operations employees.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job duties consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent walking and/or standing is required.
- Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying and manual manipulation of hydraulic cylinder components.
- Ability to work safely and adhere to the Swanson Safety System in daily job duties.
