Job Summary

Location:Morgantown, WV

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Work closely with the facilities manager to ensure repairs and preventable maintenance work orders are created in a timely matter.
  2. Work closely with maintenance technicians for general needs and supplies.
  3. Work closely with the purchasing manager to ensure MRO purchasing is done in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Maintains supplies in inventory by checking stock levels.
  5. Procure any needed supplies.
  6. Expedite and verify receipt of purchase orders.
  7. Assist other teams as needed.
  8. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, meetings, workshops, etc.
  9. Perform related duties as assigned.
  10. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must have a high school diploma.
  2. Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  3. Detail oriented with the ability to perform work under minimal supervision.
  4. Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with internal and external customers.
  5. Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job duties consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  2. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  3. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  4. Frequent walking and/or standing is required.
  5. Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying of parts.
  6. Ability to work safely and adhere to the Swanson Safety System in daily job duties.
